I am setting up my travel trailer (4 beds) at the local lake for the OKC Mile in June. I hope to invite some of you fans to share the trailer or set up a tent to camp.

Austin and OKC - an easy 200 mile road trip to each for me! I know what I'll be doing on those dates.

I am glad to see so many interested in flat track racing! I am lucky enough to live in the heart of flat track,Havana,Il. 50 miles from Springfield,50 miles from Peoria! Saw Nicky Hayden beat Chris Carr at Peoria TT,after jumping the start and starting from penalty line! One of the few to beat Carr heads-up at the TT! Also,Ricky Graham on the Honda showing Scott Parker the fast line on the Springfield Mile in the 80's! Epic!

Probably because so few folks ride motorbikes , and almost everyone drives . Plus , it's hard to get all of those sponsor's logos on one guy and a MC . Crashcar is a rolling billboard . I made a guy REALLY mad a few years back by saying that car racing was for folks that were too scared to race MC's

Aww MEOW . Cars can be dangerous also , it was Mike Hailwood who said he felt safer racing motorcycles than cars . Of course , that he was Mike Hailwood . LOL .

Something like 8 miles from the house, only 6 from the "Horse Property", racing on a proper horse track... This is just too cool.
They have it listed Scottsdale so I assumed it was at the new Indian sports venue out on the rez but it is in fact at the old track in North Phoenix. Curious.
They have nothing listed yet - is there anyplace other than the link which might give more insight into support races for this?
A shame they couldn't have scheduled it for "Bike Week/Fest" but I guess that'd queer Austin. It'd be nice to see them get this off the ground ahead of the curve. Maybe we'll still have enough "Snowbirds" to support it successfully.
Todd.
