Tom (Fubarguzzi) and his lovely SO Phyllis thought they were going to Edison NJ to pick up a Convert, but through some weird tear in space , they have apparently ended up in China . We have absolutely no idea how the science works here , but Phyllis tried to use the motel's computer , only to find herself somewhere in the far East . The computer keyboard was labeled in some Chinese dialect , and as far as she could tell , everyone at the motel was speaking Mandarin  One of you local guys explain this to us , I do wonder if a small piece of Edison has been relocated to China so there isn't a void where whatever part of there is missing
Anyway , the Fubinator is quite happy with his purchase . He did say the weather is truly lousy in Edison , couldn't figure out why anyone would live there

Edison has a huge Chinese population. My Chinese cousins there complain about the influx of South Asians to "their" neighborhood. Very uncultured group as they don't speak a lick of Mandarin. Hey, if you are going to move to Jersey at least learn to get by in the local dialect!

PJPR01 here on WG is a master of accents and dialects . I'm going to task him with creating Mandarin spoken with a Joisey accent

New Jersey is quite the melting pot and if he was one county over his experience would be with Indians from Bangalore, etc.

I was in an Argentinian restaurant in Queens and the menu was all Spanish and no pictures! Fortunately the waiter was very nice and she pointed me in the right direction, and of course it was beef. At least with I Hop it is a known menu.
