Title: Wrenching Yummies NGC
Post by: HardAspie on February 14, 2016, 04:03:35 PM
The thread on traveling yummies is a good one and has me thinking.
When it would be time to do some service on a motorcycle I would often indulge in an adult beverage, oh heck a beer, while doing that work. Now, my bikes were all sake sippers and  wait! I have never yet ever had sake! But I would like a nice cool Japanese beer as part of the ritual. I liked Sapporo best.
Question, do any of you have any during spanner spinning time rituals of food or drink?

Nope, no booze when working on or operating motorcycles or airplanes. It's serious stuff. Saa kay is good stuff, btw. :)
Period.
Lowryter browbeat me into taking a couple of laps of the track last year. I was distinctly uncomfortable. (eh emos have quit again)

That is why I have always stuck with a cool one. Keeps me hydrated and no greasy hands on the Doritos! (and I stick to a cool ONE)

Just put the Doritos in a shallow bowl and pretend you are a dog.
Or have a hippie chick to put the salsa on them and hand feed you so your greasy fingers never touch them.
Greasy prints on a beer bottle are okay.

That dog idea sounds great. Far more hygienic than a hippie chick. Woof!

While wrenching a good strong cuppa tea does the trick. Afterwards, well, who knows. :undecided:

Laura, a few weeks ago my neighbour came over with a dozen stubbies of a Japanese lager that he has taken a liking to as a thank you for some stuff I had done for him. Called Asahi Dry. I am not usually a lager man but that stuff is indeed quite nice indeed.

When I'm really into a project, I typically forget to eat. My girlfriend will bring me snacks to keep me alive and check in on me to be sure I'm not losing my mind with the something I can't get to work... For beverage, I usually go for water, or a nice crisp Pepsi on ice. I may have a Corona Extra when I've reached a victorious stage of the work.

What's to prevent the hippy chick's armpit hair from falling into the bowl of Doritos?
