Since I retired a few months ago I realized I had one bike too many. The choice came down to the 09 Buell Ulysses or the 04 Triumph Tiger. Seems you cant give a Buell away. No matter. It's a great bike and I'll get many more miles out of it. I advertised the Tiger on that smart phone app LetGo and a guy came over and gave me very near my asking price. The Tiger has 111,000 miles on it but I'm sure with proper care it has another 100k to go. So, I still have the Uly and an 01 EV ( 104K miles ) and it's time to breathe new life into my 96 1100 Sport with 124K miles. Can't wait to get her back on the road

Doesn't sound like any of your bikes owe you anything.
I suspect the Buell would sell to the right person, but on the flip side barring something weird breaking you should be able to keep it going mechanically.
And that Sport... Good luck with it.

Good news on the Tiger mileage, I have 73k on my 06. I'm gonna keep running it! :bike-037:

I have an empty spot in my garage and heart for my 09 Uly XT.. but I got out before it lost all monetary value..
hope to get a V11 Lemans or an XB9 to replace it someday, or something else..

That's a lot of miles on two bikes!

How does LetGo compare to Craigslist? any pros cons etc?
I hate selling bikes but probably need to start moving a couple

I like LetGo as well as a couple of the other smart phone apps like Offerup and one I haven't tried, wallepop, better than Craigs list. It's easier to list something for sale and you don't get internet spammers responding. You also have a more local audience. I've sold quite a few low dollar items that I would have just thrown out a few years ago.

I've got the Buell problem trying to sell my Camaro.
It's a great car.
