Late 2012, but physically verifying is probably the best way to know with certainty. Never assume anything at least on a 2012 model.

My '12 Stelvio was built in February and it has rollers.

I just bought a 2013 Griso.  I pulled a valve cover to be sure it had rollers.

My 2012 NTX built in May has rollers but 2012 production on the Stelvio was a mixed bag, some with rollers some with flat tappets.

The problem with those numbers Steve is that they are at best 'Rubbery'! I've seen earlier bikes with rollers and later bikes with flats! The casual attitude to stuff like that by the factory shits me to tears.

After all the times this question has been asked and answered, maybe the better question is:

Have any 2013 or later model year 8V bikes been known to have flat tappets? That doesn't take the place of looking for sure.

I am not in the market but i was just curios in case i win the lottery ......you never know...

I still get a giggle when people come on here and expect Guzzi to be a "normal" manufacturer..  :smiley: In my experience, they never have been, I doubt they ever will be.

My 2012 Norge has a February build date and it is a flat tappet.

No one seems to have gotten tired of the question, the additional.query, if a 2013 or later bike had been discovered to have flat tappets might help others.
