I have just learned from his wife that santaferider, Marcelo, has left us.
Passed in his sleep in the early hours this morning.
I'll miss riding Northern New Mexico with him.
Marcelo was a true sport-touring enthusiast, owning a BMW R1100RT and a Ducati ST3, and riding the wheels off of them! He owned a V11 LeMans until a knee injury required him to sell it a few years ago...

Sad to hear.
"...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind" - the more so when it is a fellow rider and Guzzisti, even when unmet.
-
Sad when a fellow rider passes. My condolences to his family.
I remember him to be a pretty enthusiastic cook, learnt a few tips on cooking (what you guys call) clams.

I believe your post says it as well as I could have.
RIP, Marcelo.

Rocker,
Sad to hear of his passing. Sipapu is a place I know well. Wish I had known him.

I lost a good friend in Durango last week. It hurts. Knew him since 1969.

Top bloke. Sean and I had the pleasure of staying with him and his charming wife in 2010 (?) when we did the southern deserts trip on our V11's. A kind and generous man. Tonight I will raise a glass in his honour.

That's sad to hear.
I remember him as a good contributor to the board, may he ride in peace.

I too will raise a glass to Marcello. My condolences to his family and friends.

I never met him, but I do remember enjoying his posts on WG.
Buon Viaggio, Marcello!

I, too, will raise a glass. Blue skies and tailwinds, Marcello..the Guzzi family is greatly diminished.

Sad to hear, never had the pleasure of meeting him, but did enjoy his internet company. Condolences to his family and friends.

Always a loss & bit of a void when a senior rides ahead. I do enjoy seeing a young new rider on his/her first bike with the accompanying smile & chatter. That helps.
