Well here it is, straight from the Guzzi shop in Prescott (which was a great place to do business by the way.) My SYM Wolf Classic 150. Rode it to a friend's in Chino Valley yesterday and home to Corntown today. I am breaking it is as easily as I can, but have seen 55 mph indicated - probably an overread - and it seems to have enough remaining to make it entirely practical. Handles great, far more stable that I thought it would be, and I think it will be a happy addition to my life. Too bad I can't quite get it into the bedroom to sleep inside.
Well, no it isn't here as I have no bleeding idea how to go about uploading a photo! This is why I did not wane computers on the bike!

Thank you Dusty!
It has been a long road and I hope a longer one stretching out ahead.
-
Gotta love that new bike feeling.
-
Huzzah! Congrats and enjoy!
Most of all, ride safe!

Thanks ya'all!
Trying to be safe. hey, on that subject, I bought a new HJC CL 17. I had the previous edition and must say that the new one is still both DOT and Snell and has it seems better ventilation and is quieter and has better aerodynamics. When I turn my head to the side it has very little tendency to keep turning and so twist my head off. Good lid.

Congrat's, Laura! :thumb: Nice choice...it should serve well and be a lot of fun. Small bikes are highly underrated.

Congrats on the new arrival! Will there be a name?

Hi Laura, congratulations on the new ride. Your ride home was probably the only break-in that engine needs. I'd recommend an early oil change just to flush out any metal generated by the new parts mating into each other. Sounds like you are off to a great relationship with that 150.

I think so too. It feels great and ought be able to do all of what i need and much of what I want.
Congrats on the new arrival! Will there be a name?
Guzzistajohn
Probably not. That has been my MO for years and not all the named things have treated me well. My bicycle is just "Bicycle" and the Wolf is a Wolf...good enough.

So I'll just post it for you. I say call it "Lobo"

Thank you!
There are many others like it, but this one is mine.

I had one for a couple years. You'll be shifting a lot, but mileage is excellent, more stable at speed than you would expect, and fits through just about any opening. For some people, it's all the bike they'll ever need.

Yup, hardly a torque monster. I think it is what I need. And I am liking it.

NICE! I had no idea it was such a good looking bike!

It is. I stopped shopping for accessories not found and for lunch and was asked twice how old it was.
nice. theres a proper motorbike. id stick with dino. and change it frequently.
thebaileylee
Thanks. It feels like a proper motorbike. Riding it quickly required some degree of energy management.

Congratulations! That is a beauty.
Somehow it looks even better in a "real" photo as opposed to a factory shot.
I'm envious.

Congrats. That really is a nice looking bike. I've enjoyed reading about your journey getting back into riding. Looking forward to some ride reports. :bike-037:

Cangrats and enjoy!!!! You finally got it!! Keep us updated

That's my plan. It may be little, but I bought it to ride.
Even today was pretty nice. From Prescott over the Black Hills and Jerome there on Cleopatra Hill. Only two touristas tried to take my lane, so I was fortunate.

A new bike is always Anjou, congrats.
I bet you wake up earlier for the next few weeks.
-
Congratulations on selecting such a unique, lovely bike. Any pics in Jerome? Love that town! I envy you your ride from dealer to home.

Nice bike and Jim is a very good wrench.
You have such a great area to ride. I see the Gen. Cook Trail in the near future for you😀

Nice choice! Love the kick starter and real fenders. You can go where most of us can only dream of with that bike, enjoy. :thumb:

Laura, that thing looks like a blast! Congrats on the new ride. I'm newer here but have been following your "journey back" as others said. I've found your logic...just that. Sound.
I had to google Jerome, that 89A looks sick! Very envious. Enjoy.

Good looking bike. As others have said it looks even better in real life pics than the studio shots on the SYM web site.
Congrats! May you have many happy miles together!
I'll be looking forward to the trip reports.

Looking back at the photo, the bike would look much better without that ugly heat shield on the muffler.
Can you tell whether it can be removed, and what the muffler would look like without it?

I'm seriously delighted that you pulled the trigger on that bike. Well done...maybe now things will be easy as pie!

I love Jerome too. I hit the mine museum behind the fire station last month....lots of old Studebaker trucks
-
Congrats...cool looking little monster there!!
Prescott also has a great Ural dealer...the guy usually shows up at Overland Expo at Mormon Lake every year with a few goodies...we bumped into him last year on the ride thru Jerome to Prescott/Sedona...great rides.
Is that Symantha capable of some light off piste travel with some decent offroad tires? Could be fun to try out some of the trails in Sedona (Broken Arrow or Submarine Rock) or even a more challenging one...the back road from Lake Pleasant to Crown King!

Thanks to all for your kind thoughts and words. I had a busy day and so did not ride so much as I might have wanted, but what miles I did reel in I truly loved.
That museum behind the fire station in Jerome is wonderful, as is the eccentric who owns it.
