"2016 MotoGP Season Preview: 8 Big Things to Watch Out For"
- an informative report from Bike Bandit (no purchase necessary):
http://tinyurl.com/zj7uast (http://tinyurl.com/zj7uast)
Piaggio ---- http://www.piaggiogroup.com/ (http://www.piaggiogroup.com/) ---- will field an all-new Aprilia Moto GP bike (only "Guzzi" content I can find), and some MGP bikes will grow canard wings up front.
Well worth a read-thru, especially if there's:
(1) A foot of snow (and still falling) on the ground like where I am, and
(2) Pretty Girls at the end of the article.

8) The Tension Between Rossi and Marquez Is Still Unresolved
The big story last year, of course, was the tension between Rossi and Marquez that culminated in the infamous "kick" - a move that that sent Marquez sliding off the track, and Rossi sliding to the back of the pack at Valencia, robbing him of his shot at a tenth title. The way the rivalry ended last year left the tension between the two anything but resolved, and there is just as much a chance of it resurfacing this year when the two are in close quarters at a press conference or battling over the same piece of tarmac on the track. Add Lorenzo to the mix, who has never successfully defended a title, and probably has a chip on his shoulder over how he won the last one, and there is sure to be enough personal drama in this year's MotoGP season to fill the plot of a Spanish telenovela.
The best part of the write up! Yup...those "Promotoras" are lovely indeed!!

I've lost a lot of respect for Marquez. I'm looking for Rossi to make up for his championship loss last year, but Lorenzo really seems to be the spoilier in all this.
As for the story, yeah, I really liked the girls at the end too. I'm old fashioned; I still pray, salute, and kiss the prettiest girls that will let me.

for the record, I haven't changed my mind that dorna is a bunch of fanboy monkeys that couldn't run a straight race to save their lives. I think MGP will go in the complete dumper once Rossi is gone and there are no Americans because MM (+ honda, Dorna aka Spaniard club race series) has poisoned the well.
The only good news is that Suzuki might be competitive this year even though the Aprilia won't be and KTM will be back next year.
And little hope elsewhere since Dorna has made WSB a MGP ghetto.
