My standard V11 now has Ohlins forks and shock, and a LeMans fairing. I had it out last weekend and it seems to fall into corners a bit too much. I'm thinking I may have the fork tubes too far up in the triple clamps.
Can someone with a stock Ohlins bike tell me how far the tubes stick out of the top triple clamp? Thx. Dennis

Here's a pic of how my Nero Corsa was set.
Keep in mind that the forks have etched lines on the tubes so that you can easily note ride height, and ride height is something considered adjustable for setup. My bike was set at the top line.
What rear tire are you running? If you're running a 170/60-17, the bike may have the falling in feeling more than with the OEM 180/55-17 rear tire.
What brand/model tires are you running? They can change the way the bike feels, too.

Thanks - that's just the info I needed. I'm running a 180 Pirelli Angel rear with about 5000 miles. It's looking a little squared off, but before I spring for new tires, I thought I'd check my fork tube measurement.
The Bridgestones I wanted are out of stock everywhere. Anyone tried Continental Road Attack IIs?

Bridgestone T30 is my current fave.
Then Michelin Pilot Road 3 and 4.

My NT700 came with a set of conti road attacks. Since it's more of a touring bike I doubt that's a very good comparison. I CAN say the Metzler Z8 interacts I replaced them with rode a lot rougher and made the bike feel like it fell off to either side rather quickly. Like on a knife edge.
The metzlers were super on th f800gt but the road attacks were better for a heavier touring type bike

04 Café Sport here. Factory CD says 30mm for the Rosa Corsa and 26mm for the Café Sport. Mine has the third groove flush with the upper surface of the top yoke. The CD also shows the measurement taken at the flat surface of the fork cap. Do not include the height of the hexagonal preload adjuster. Mine came with PR2's and had a wobble/shimmy above 80 and a falling into turns habit. Changed to Avon Storm Ultras and the handling is very neutral with no speed sensitivity.

Thanks again for the info. I've installed Apex multi-adjustable clipons. They have taller brackets than the stock clipons, which is what has caused my concern with the stock stickout measurement.
The Bridgestone T30s in the 180 size are either sold out, or nla. Don't know which.

I ran 170/60-17 on the rear of my V11.
Quickens steering, improves turn in, and transition.
