Title: Hi. New Newbie.
Post by: Papa Lazarou on March 20, 2016, 08:06:53 AM
First post. I've owned a small number of Guzzis over the years, a 850T3, 850T3 California, SP1000 and have just bought a Griso.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm on Guzzi Ghetto but it seems a bit dead there at the moment. Mainly, I'm on Sport Touring.org.

Now...farkles..flys creen on order, fender extender on order, rear hugger already fitted...that exhaust is fugly...need to change the  bars....

Welcome!
You have good taste when it comes to bikes, at least.
I think a carbon-style Mistral muffler looks good on the Griso.

Welcome over here (to the mature crowd).  Lots of good resources (knowledgeable people) with regards to the Griso.

I love the Griso and wish it fit more into my garage, but to do so would mean culling a few bikes, and the wife and kids keeps saying she and they are not ready to part with a few of them.  Do you still have the Blackbird? Is the Griso going to be your touring bike, or really I'm just asking how it fits in with the others and how you plan to use it.

If you replace the oem muffler.  Keep it.  Expensive to replace.

Aha. I pretty much quit STN after Neal sold out.
