Stopped by the rally a couple of times the last few days. I only live a few miles from the Sertoma Youth Ranch so I chose to sleep in my own bed rather than tent camp. Not a huge turnout but really good people. Tim and Helena Hewitt and Steve Horsey organize and have been doing it for years. I remember from back in the 80's when Tim's dad Ron was organizing FL rallys. Got to spend a few hours talking with Karl Worth (sp?). Always enjoy that. Probably few people outside of FL knew Goat. What a character. Sadly he passed but his family was in attendance. Saturday's forecast is rain all day. Probably scared a few people away. Sunday should be nice. This rally is kind of low key and exemplifies the old virtues of camping with people of like minds sharing food and drink in the middle of no where away from the noise and stress of the cities.
