Looks fake.
 I like the Jaguar and the Jeep is cute.

There's no sensible reason for it but it has to be the one with tracks
-
In say the Smart motor isn't powerful enough to propel those big car tires + from a rear view those big tires would be maybe touching each other on the insides.
-
Pipe dreams. That car isn't smart enough for changes. Bad platform.

Well... it started out to be an electric car , and the morphed into a petrol burner , so maybe it is adaptable , dunno

The Jaguar looks a lot like a Griffith. Here's a 1965 Griffith, powered by a H.O. 289 Ford:

I knew a guy who had a TVR/Griffith before they put the 289 motor in it. With that heavy V8 the Griffith would slide straight thru a tight corner. Sunbeam Tiger had handling issues too. Also met a guy who raced an AC Bristol before they made it an AC Cobra with that 260/289 Ford V8.

I like the one with tracks too. But, it is understandable. Used to drive M60's and M1's for a living :)

And the 289 was a very light V8. When I rebuilt the 289 in my ski boat, I was able to pick up the block and walk around with it as I washed it out and painted it.
I rode in a hot rodded 289 Griffith years ago. It was the fastest car I've ever ridden in. The driver demonstrated its power to weight ratio by starting out in 4th gear on an uphill, and it was no problem. He didn't even have to give it much throttle. And the sound of a V8 with headers coming from a tiny fiberglass car was almost hilarious.

Penderic, you are indeed the master of the internet.

A service buddy shoehorned a 289 into a TR3 , lots of suspension work , some really trick widened TR3 wheels , and a roll bar , voila , a REALLY BAD little car . Seems he said the 289 only weighed
20 lbs more than the original 4 cylinder , and was set back a couple of inches for better weight distribution .

One from the vaults,
a rather large body kit for a large car.
As one comment says this apears to be the only mention of the Kruise-Aire on the internet. Posting because I found interesting and thought I should share:

Concept predates GMC motorhome and MPV possibly a very influential vehicle that no ones ever heard of?

In say the Smart motor isn't powerful enough to propel those big car tires....
although there are several engine conversions available, either Hyabusa or GSXR based :copcar:

if I could photoshop, I'd have Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, head sticking out the sunroof of a smart car.
