Title: A night at the local Bike Night
Post by: Dilliw on April 15, 2016, 10:07:41 AM
So what are the odds?

Took the Griso to the local bike night last just outside of Charlotte.  As I'm turning left to go into the venue a couple of bikes are coming towards me heading to the same place- a Nero Corsa and another Tenni Griso!  There was only one way to play it so I parked right next to them.

I guess that's my first rally of the season!

Those Tennis are somethin'

Imagine seeing two at a generic gathering in a few more years.

Nice thing is, any squids likely to have owned them have moved on so the population will likely stabilize for a while.

Being such a timeless looking bike and two (I assume well maintained) pretty examples together must have led more than a few spectators to wonder at these "new" motorcycles.

Certainly rare to see two of those together outside a national rally.

Where???

SoMoto is a once-a-month bike night just south of Charlotte, NC in Fort Mill, SC.  I knew that Greg was a member of the group and that he had a Tenni but I had never met him or seen his bike until last night.   I doubt there have been many other chance encounters between Tenni Griso's.  Throw in the redhead and you've got some Vegas odds.

Other bikes there included a '93 DB2, a MV Agusta Dragster, and a clean looking  CZ dual sport.

They'll be a shitload rarer if you don't get them rollerised soon.

The one on the end has a fresh set of rollers in it courtesy of Matthews Fun Machines.  The one in the middle still has flats but he is aware.  That bike has about 4k on it.

I gather being aware does make them last any longer.

As us yanks say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
