New cal 1400 owner looking for a nice leather detachable saddlebag set. Anyone have experience with the Hepco Becker Cbow buffalo setup, or the Agostini leather bags? Finish, thickness, durability, etc.
Not looking at the factory bags, as I want something easily detachable.
Thanks for all the great info, best from the windy city.

Keep searching the forums (fora?) on this topic; some guys last year posted photos etc of their C-Bow setup for the 1400.
Good luck, and welcome to the group.

One of the things that really pissed Jude and I off about the standard 'Touring' was that the bags weren't QD. How stupid is that on a $22,000US motorbike called a 'Touring'?
Grrrrrrrr!

That's exactly why I bought the custom. Kept hitting my boot on the factory fiberglass bags every time I got on.
Still trying to find someone with experience with the agostini bags though. Thanks all.

i ordered the Agostini bags from AF1 last year and returned them. For the price i paid the i felt like they were sub par and i didnt like the way they looked with the lines of the bike. Generally i just wasn't happy with the part for the $. Hope this helps.

I much prefer that to the OEM Touring bags.
If I get a Cali 1400 one day I'll definitely go with HB C-Bows of some sort.
