Title: 1400 seat rebuilt, anyone done?
Post by: toaster404 on April 19, 2016, 09:30:06 AM
Do not like profile.  Am not concerned about pulling off cover and modifying / replacing foam.  Has anyone looked at what is under the cover exactly?  Anyone done this?

Was considering getting elkskin and replacing cover, too.

Any comments extremely welcome.

I need a custom seat for my 1400 Touring.  I find the stock seat uncomfortable.  I'll post when I find a solution.  I have had multiple Russell Day-Long saddles, and I've been happy with their work.  I've also had a Rich's custom saddle too, that was good (and waterproof), but the RDL was more comfortable.

We can assist.  Ask the forum Norge guys what they think of our rebuilds.
Cruisers are easy to fix.
