I made it back from Cedar Vale and all I got was a t-shirt. Decided to skip the fish fry and not risk riding home in the dark. Good thing too, when I got home the bikes rear end and right exhaust was covered in tranny blood. The smell of burning 90 weight definitely doesn't smell like victory. Now back to the grind.

Well, that was quick. I'll bet the po leese hadn't even arrived yet. The party no doubt continues..

CV now has a hot shower but you can only get one half of the bike in at a time.

I made a mad dash down to the VALE on the V65TT and had an awesome ride down 200 miles and back 200 miles. The TT held its own as a 65 mph tourer prairie style. The flint hills were verdant and cattle were munching on new green sprouts.
I put some names to faces, had some great conversations, and had to leave too quickly but sure glad I went.
The nice thing about the V65TT is I found a couple of nice gravel roads a scrambled around Fall River on my way back north and then hopped back on Hiway 99.
I look forward to the MO KAN event in September. Anyone know dates?

I saw John fill the trans and check the bevel box before he left CV....really I did. So if that Lemansaha fixed itself he's still the luckiest F'er around. I tried to swap him a Yamaha for it but he was resistant. Damn. Some guys are hard to deal with. :boozing: :boozing:

that was the worry for John's tranny. I suppose that GB built a lot of pressure at the speed were going and the pressure overcame the seal? Or it's self-healing ?
