Finally pulling the trigger. My ’93 1000S will go on eBay Tuesday morning, April 26. Here's the description:
"Bike in exceptionally good condition, very clean. Mechanicals are stock and unaltered. Everything in full working order, a smooth and powerful runner. Beautiful melodic Guzzi exhaust note. I’ve owned the bike for 9 years, one of 3 Guzzis in the stable. Never been in storage, always ready to run. Whoever wins this auction is going to be very pleased with the purchase.
This is a ’93 model so medium valve engine with improved mid-range torque. Electronic ignition via Magneti Morelli Digiplex works perfectly. This bike has no issues, no niggles. Polished stainless steel instrument panel. Minor paint flaking on side panels (all 1000S have this feature). Tires are Avon RoadRider, new rear, front 60%. New Odyssey battery. Chrome exhaust headers and chrome LaFanconi pipes included once reserve price is met. Original tool kit and owner’s manual included.” 32,600 miles.

Naturally I hope it goes to a Guzzista! Good luck to all interested parties.

Pretty bike...
I'd buy it if I had the room...

That's one of the toughest looking Guzzis you could want to see, reminds me of the stance of a Laverda Jota or a Hailwood Duke. That would be a pleasure to own, if anyone who sees it wants to haggle, teach them some manners. BTW, what fairing is that ?

very very nice

I had the same bike and sold it about 2 years ago. The main reason I sold it is because the bike had to many one off parts that simply aren't available any more. However there are lots of collectors looking for bikes like yours. Good luck with the sale.

Do you happen to have the original foot controls and peg mounts?
Nice job matching the stripes on the fairing to the tank.

This is one beautiful motorcycle!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I’ll try to answer some of the questions here:
I do not have a buy it now price for this bike. That’s why I went with eBay's auction process. Part of the discovery will be finding out what the bike is actually worth.
In terms of original foot controls, I do have the right side footpeg mount, but that is all. Of course, that may be the hardest part to get! If someone wanted to convert the bike back to 2 up riding they could use the one footpeg mount I have and make its mirror image via CNC or 3D printing process. I’ll put a picture of the footpeg mount on eBay. It will go with the bike.
The fairing is reminiscent of a late 1970’s Ducati 900SS, but I believe it may be little wider that the Duc version.

CORRECTION! I have the LEFT side footpeg mount.

Beautiful bike....
I'd buy it if I had the money....

Gem! Good luck on the sale.

Absolute drop dead a pure classic. My favorite Guzzi. Fran at Moto America gave me one for an hour one afternoon. I couldn't stand up straight for the next hour after I got off of it otherwise I would have bought it right there. I was only 45 and in awesome physical condition but the bike just did not fit my 6'5" frame in at all. In 1773/74 I wanted the green Ducati desmo SS 750 and could not afford it.
In 93 I could have paid cash for the green 1000S but it was an ergonomic nightmare.
Damn, life can be cruel sometimes.

Beautiful bike, I hope you do well on the sale.
