Title: Any V65TT owners?
Post by: mentalfloss on April 24, 2016, 10:06:14 AM
I have a 1986 V65TT and wondered who else has one....or an 85 for that matter.
Curtis Harper and I were talking and he thought there only about 15 in the USA.
 He has one
I have one
Desert Pistons has one or two (I think one is a euro NTX not sure of the year.)

There were 21 V65TT's imported by the company. There may be others imported by individuals though so no way to verify a number in the US.

There is one particular one built from the parts room during the Moto America ERA and is disguised as a brown V 50 III.  It was last known to be in the North West part of the country.  When we sold it it was shipped to either Oregon or Washington.  A quite impressive little bike that would greatly embarrass 1200cc HD sportsters
at grudge night at the local drag strip.

My 2 cents
