Somebody's on a buying binge. And quite a variety you've got going there.
(Oops, I just saw that you've sold the Buell.)
Will that be a forest road runner?
Steve.

The 1996-present DR650's have a few items that need attention.
-The "neutral sending screws" behind the clutch pack need to be locktited and/or safety wired. In rare occasion they back out and do bad things.
- Upper chain roller need to be removed and the frame tapping plugged with a cap screw. The chain will catch the roller and rip it out of the frame. It serves no purpose.
-Verify the air/fuel screw is set properly.

all noted..
it came with a Corbin :azn:

"I'm down to tubes and carb again"
And air cooling, SACS not withstanding.
Retro. :boozing:

Congrats! Those are lots of fun. Nothing like a large bore single cylinder 4-stroke machine-gun-thumper engine. A few of my friends had the late 80's version (blue and white patterns), and I had an '87 Honda XL 600 RM - Stairs? No problem. (I lived in Italy at the time and our town had steps connecting sections, which we would use...).
That one looks really sharp and well maintained.

Nice bike Brad, from what I have read the DR is the better bike over the KLR, lighter, better suspension. I love riding my KLR so much that my RT1150 hardly ever turns a wheel anymore.
Enjoy the ride.
cheers

I'm sittin alone, Saturday night, watching the Late Late Show
A bottle of wine, some cigarettes, I got no place to go
Well, I saw my old Guzzi today, she was wearing some brand new shoes
And I'm down to tubes and carb again, too
Well, I met my old friend Bob today from up in Bowling Green
He had the prettiest Cali that I'd ever seen
But I couldn't hide my tears at all 'cause she looked just like you
And I'm down to tubes and carb again, too
Now everybody tells me there's other ways to get high
They don't seem to understand, I'm too far gone to try
Now these lonely memories, they're all I can't lose
And I'm down to tubes and carb again, too
Well, my dog died just yesterday and left me all alone
The finance company dropped by today and repossessed my home
That's just a drop in the bucket compared to losing you
And I'm down to tubes and carb again, too
Got the down to tubes and carb again blues...

Ha, good one Rocker! I'm adding a touch of Violin, just a background layer :weiner:
-
Now you guys have me wanting a DR650. I did have a KLR a few years back and had fun with it.
