Hey guys new member here. I recently purchased a 2015 V7 and absolutely love it! I have a question though, what is the red, amber, green led indicator on the side of the V7 for? I did some searches and couldn't find anything about it.

Pics please? Not sure what you're referring to. You say they're on the side? Where, exactly?
-
Might be a voltage indicator? Common add-on.

The amber is sun faded - it's white - and the order is reversed.
It's actually an electro- "Il Tricolore". Long may it wav, er... blink.
Nah, I dunno, can't help myself though. Call it a courtesy bump. Like in an elevator or subway. :boozing:

Looks to me like an aftermarket LED battery condition indicator .

It's a connector for a Ctek trickle charger. Many dealerships install them on all their bikes.

They are reflections of the stop light that you're sitting at. Pay close attention to the one in front of you, not the reflections on the side of the bike.

That's right and that specific one is called a "comfort indicator connector" for some strange reason!!
I've got the Ctek MXS 5.0 charge and does very good job
