We have an airport here in town called Hooks airport, near Tomball...so as you can imagine, the Hookers and the Ballers have a common meeting point! :)

If it's Bellingham, Washington we're talking about, I call them "lucky." What a great place to live! And still somewhat off the grid unlike, say, Boise, ID, which has been on a lot of "best places to live" for awhile now.
-
I lived in B'ham for a few years during and after college. A wonderful place in the late 70's. Hope it hasn't changed too much.

Here I've been trying to get Bungendore residents to embrace 'Bungendorks' for a while. Oddly I seem to be meeting fairly stiff resistance. humourless bastards......

Asked a resident of Bristow OK what we should call a local . Was hoping for something like Bristovian , he answered "Drunk redneck"

Been here since 1968. I remember when there was two stoplights in town! Yes, it has changed a bit, but still has the charm, fresh air, mountains, and islands that it always has!!!
One of my favorite things to do is have breakfast near the water or on the islands somewhere in Puget Sound and then take the Quota to the end of the road at Mt. Baker (elev. 5,220') in the afternoon! Doesn't get much better than that!
