Title: Simple newb question - '13 V7 Stone ECU
Post by: Alchymyst on April 28, 2016, 01:44:28 PM
Hi all,

after searching about, cannot find answer so thought I'd just ask - How do I tell what ECU my bike has?  Thanks!

I guess one could always read the owner's manual.

The OP asked what type.
The 3P seemed to want to know how one would tell.
I was replying to 3P.
I'm not sure why

I guess I was asking both what kind I have and how to tell.  Will check owners manual as suggested. Thanks!

If it is a single TB model it's the MUIG3 which is incorporated in the throttle body. DO NOT MESS ABOUT WITH IT! IT HAS NO EXTERNAL PHYSICAL ADJUSTMENTS.

If you can't find it, check the owners manual. The manual should tell you what it is, another page will tell you where it is - try under the right side cover. There is usually a label on it, telling you it's model & a bit of other guff. Put the side cover back on.

Since it's INTEGRATED WITH the SINGLE THROTTLE BODY, if someone can't find it they should slowly step away from the bike and stay away! :boozing:
