getting ready to sell my Sportster.(94 883). first I noticed the brake light was on continuous.. did a google search and found the easiest fix.. the switch gear on right side had slipped away by mere mm's but enough that the brake lever plunger switch was not activating..
after that fix I notice the front turn signals are "on" all the time but brighten when t/s activated.. I don't remember them being on all the time before but might have overlooked that.
or did I pinch a wire or something when adjusting the lever position on the bar?

My Sportster front signals are always-on running lights.
If yours are brightening upon actuating the brake, you may have juice flowing back through your brake's 1157 bulb from the brake light circuit to the running light circuit.
Pull the bulb out of the brakes and take a peek at it and the housing contacts.
Might be though, just a bit of a surge upon the demand for the brake light too and be nothing to worry about.
Todd.

On all the time is normal.
I thought blinking was always off-to-on then, but 1994 was a long time ago and I can't swear it.
