So Tex and myself are planning a small lunch gathering next weekend (not tomorrow or this Sun) . Maybe somewhere like McAlester , or Ada . Anyone else interested . Heck , if we do it on Sat we could camp somewhere .

My vote would be for Sardis lake , Robber's cave gets really crowded this time of year .

I think that'll be Barb's weekend to work, might just have to head to where the wind comes sweeping down the plains :bike-037:

Lunch sounds good.
If you really wanna eat somewhere in Southeastern Okla riding ITALIAN motorcycles, there is really only one place: Krebs.
:food:
unfortunately, I have a family commitment Saturday and Sunday is Mother's Day (related to Saturday).

Yeah , hadn't thought of that (Mother's day) . Nothing set in stone yet .

Still, if I had a vote, I'd go with Pete's.

You guys pick a date and a destination. Work permitting, I'll be there

Ok, so Saturday for lunch somewhere centrally-located to all the participants?

Let me get back with the turnip farmer before we set anything in stone . But yeah , I am open to what ever .

I'm thinkin' Sardis Lake as twowings suggested. Roads that wiggle are the best for Guzzis.

if the weather is good I can make it to Stroud tomorrow. Maybe a little further. So lunch tomorrow weather permitting.
Next weekend is a little sketchy. I have a family shrimp boil in Shawnee next Saturday night.

You can ride to Sardis. I'll eat at Pete's (Krebs), thank you.

Rats! I'm in MSF Rider Course the next two days....oh, well...

I don't know if this is still on, given the ongoing storm recovery efforts, but in case it is, I'll throw this into the mix: The Seaba Station Motorcycle Swap Meet is this weekend in Warwick. http://seabastation.com/gpage3.html

March and April were filled with selling my 95 yo moms house, getting rid of 40 years of tuff and getting her in assisted living. Time for a break so I thought I'd ride up to Okieland and treat Dusty to lunch for all he does on wild goose.
That all changed on April 29th at 6PM when we got hit by two F2 tornados with 140 mile an hour winds. Damn, there is a lot of branches on a 80 foot tall pine. Another SIL helped me Tues and Wed. We uncovered a pear tree that is loaded with pears. Saved it. Still have more fruit trees to uncover.
But I'm ok. Bikes are OK. You know what 140 MPH winds with driving rain won't do? Remove dirt from my Guzzis.
The sun is coming up and I hear a chain saw calling my name.

Don't forget the speed traps at Council Hill and Boynton. They gotta make money somehow....

Those are no longer extant Larry , since we now have the shared money system the speed traps in those two villages , and several other places like Big Cabin have mostly gone away .
