Title: Breva 750 - which wheel bearings
Post by: omega1987 on April 30, 2016, 12:14:34 PM
Hello all,

I could do with some advice. I've just noticed that my rear wheel has a little play in it, I'm guessing its the bearings beginning to go. I'm going to an auto jumble tomorrow and though off keep an eye open whilst I'm there for replacements but I can't find any info online for the bearings.

Could anyone tell me what the two bearings are for the rear wheel?

Also, I've been told the fronts are Koyo 60052RSCS is this correct?

Any help much appreciated

Sorry, can't tell you the exact numbers but they are common as muck. The 2RS just means it has rubber seals on both sides of the bearings. RS would mean just sealed on one side. They can be picked up from any bearing place.

Manufacturers these days just tend to make 2RS bearings and you just flick one of the seals out with a pick if you need lube on one side and sealed on the other. The bearing number will be stamped on the side and should be easily visible.

Rear swingarm bearings are muck common too. (I am assuming it is the smallblock Breva) I know some have flicked the inside seal off on those so they can be repacked with grease.

According to the Stein-Dinse parts diagrams, the rear wheel bearings are two different sizes. #4 is a 6203-2RS1 and #13 is a 6303-2RSH
