as someone newer to the Marque....what is the comprehensive list of Guzzi's that employ the spine frame on display in Chucks recent post "Spot Going Back together", here. http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=83207.0
If I've missed other threads on this,feel free to post "em and I'll explore there. I couldn't find one.

They were derived from Dr. John's endurance racer of the late 1980s.
First production of a street version was the Daytona 1000. It was available in The USA only as a 1993 model.
Due to the Daytona's expensive engine, a warmed-over 2vpc engine was selected for use in the chassis.
The Carb'd Sport 1100 was available in The USA as 1994/1995/1996 models.
The chassis was upgraded with new forks, transmission, bevel box, and wheels (Plus, new efi for Sport. Sport bodywork for Daytona) for model year 1997. So there were two models available that year in The USA: Daytona RS and Sport 1100i.
For USA, then:
1993 Daytona
1994-96 Sport 1100 (carb)
1997 Daytona RS
1997 Sport 1100 injection
For the world, there were a few more models sprinkled in.

Daytonas are exceedingly rare in the USA. The Sport 1100 is more plentiful, and more daily-driveable, but is also very rare. Even for a Moto Guzzi.
In the Sport 1100 Carb and Daytona 1000, it's easy to see that they are low production machines derived from racing. Things like the cut-down full-floating bevel box that's specific to the bikes. The steel rod locating the bevel box, with its radius rod ends. the exposed driveshaft, made necessary by the 160 section rear tire and limited clearance. The gears and dogs in the transmission. The hand-laid fiberglass bodywork. Many of these things were "improved" with the 1997 models.

Spine framed Moto Guzzi models:
Mike has listed the early models--after those came the Centauro (sort of an upright Daytona), and a whole series of models that might generally be called Le Mans-based. These differ by details (suspension and the like). Guzzi had another earlier model also called the Le Mans, but there isn't really any confusing the two.

1997/1998 saw the Daytona RS chassis slathered with Luciano Marabese bodywork and standard seating. The Centauro.
1999, Aprila-Guzzi showed the new "V11 Sport".
So, the naked V11 Sport got new forks, transmission, swingarm, bevel box, wheels, and a revised version of the Sport 1100 engine. Lots of changes from 1997 Sport 1100 to the 2000 V11 Sport. The frame was tweaked for a slightly shorter wheelbase and slightly steeper steering head. The bikes steered quicker, but some didn't like it. In 2003, the geometry was changed to match the V11 LeMans.
In 2002, a half fairing was added, and the frame was "switched back" with wheelbase and steering angle revised to numbers close to the Sport 1100/Daytona RS. The new bike was called V11 LeMans.
There were quite a few variants of the V11 Sport and LeMans:
2000 V11 Sport
2001 V11 Sport, and a special edition called Rosso Mandello.
2002 V11 Sport
2002 Ohlins-equipped special called Scura.
2003 V11 Sport, and some distributor exclusives called V11 Sport TT (special tank colors) and V11 Sport Carbon (carbon accessories added).
2003 V11 Sport Ballabio had protaper-style handlebars like Cafe Sport and Coppa Italia, but was otherwise a standard V11 Sport
2003 Ohlins-equipped Cafe Sport and Coppa Itaia also got pro-taper bars. Both had special paint.

On the LeMans side, there were also a number of models:
2002 V11 LeMans
2002 V11 LeMans Tenni (special green paint and TiN coated forks).
2003 V11 LeMans
2003 Ohlins-equipped Rosso Corsa (red checkerboard paint)
2004 V11 LeMans
2004 Ohlins-equipped Nero Corsa (black checkerboard paint).
The last V11 was only available in Europe. The 2005 V11 Scura R.
In The USA, the last V11s were model year 2004. Streetbikes, anyway...
The truly last of the line was the MGS-01 Corsa. There was to have been a MGS-01 Strada, but Piaggio took the reins in 2004 and killed the project, which was a product of Ghezzi-Brian and Moto Guzzi. The racebikes were tested, but deemed a little heavy and a little slow for the intended Formula Extreme class, and then rule changes ensured the bike would not compete. So it was shelved.
The MGS-01 had lots of tricky bits. hand-built aluminum swingarm bolted to the back of the transmission. Cool rear rising rate shock linkage. Nice Ohlins with radial mount brake calipers. Lightweight wheels. Cool stuff. A few made it onto the street, but the bikes are exceedingly rare...

Interesting that the frame is mentioned almost as an afterthought...most of the focus is on the motors evolution.

Here is (was) my partsbike - which was the same as the 2002 Red/Grey Lemans in the photos above. This picture shows the basic rolling frame/engine without the subframe that supports the seat and tail section. Although this one crashed hard and the front wheel is about a foot to the right of rear wheel

The 93 Daytona, one of 300 or so made. There is a road-legal MGS-01 for sale in the UK for only £25K, not too bad a price for ultimate Guzzi exclusivity.

The MGS01 Corsa frame outwardly appears to be similar to the spine frame bikes is very different from the spine frames, designed buy different group of people (Ghezzi Brian). Where all the other spine frame bikes are very closely related to each other. Not avalible int he US I believe but you did miss the Daytona Racing which was a warmed over version of the Daytona 1000, 100 only made.

Well if we keep it at frames only, it's more simple.
92 Daytona 1000
94 sport 1100 carb cheaper made frame.
95 centauro/sport 1100i/daytona RS, less wide at porkshops.
00 v11 sport 1 degree steeper headangle
01 v11 le mans/naked - longer wheelbase
03 mgs01 but it's to much different to be in same line
Rest is plastics changes
