No, it's not mine - yesterday on the way to the way of the free I noticed it on the street and thought " that might have been a Moto Guzzi, look again tomorrow"
Sure enough, today, there it is on MESSAGE REDACTED Drive in Escondido - a block from my place. Who is the rider?
I'm going to have to leave them a note...NO, not the kind with letters cut from magazines :grin:

Okay, I left a brightly colored 3x5 card tucked between the seat and tank today, welcoming the rider to the 'hood, and letting them know about the forum and my email address. We'll see what happens.
They'll probably go get a restraining order against me for stalking, or something like that. :popcorn:

Well, the card is still there today, and there's some dust on the bike.
What if the owner says something like " It's got a loose spark plug wire, and I can't figure out how to fix it - I'd take a hundred dollars for it..."
Or I win that $415 million Powerball jackpot - both are about equally likely.

So it's raining here today, and I figured I'd better pull that card before it melts all over somebody's bike.
Bike was not on the street today, so it must be sleeping somewhere else, or I missed it.
[Stormtruck2], I wish I'd been clever enough to establish an alternate identity back in the pre-computer days, as an insurance policy of sorts. Nowadays you'd have to find a clever hacker to do a good job of it, and even then the computers all talk to each other better than they used to.

So I
stalked cruised through the apartment complex parking lot, and it's there. I've amended my original post such as to conceal the location in case the V7 mafia are searching the interweb for unguarded locations to steal Guzzis from.
So somebody else is a local Guzzista, but is hiding their light under a bushel basket.
