Looks really nice. True time capsule.

wow, I can see the simplicity of the modern small blocks inside that bike, great, great grandfather to the current v7...it's buried deep, but the genes are in there

Damn that is a beauty, would love to have it.
But on the advice warning from my better half not to bring home one more #*!!$ motorcycle I must forget I ever saw this post or 33 years of marriage may come to a screeching end.

"But it's an investment, honey!"

I'll store it for you for 6 months, then we can just slip it into your garage under the cover of darkness. Sounds like this one has the upgraded 12V charging system too.

I have an opportunity to buy locally a real nice LeMans MK IV, but after 'agreeing' to not acquire any more $#!!# motorcycles until I sell one I just can't pull the pin. I am seriously considering selling both of my sons a KLR650 for $1. That way I can claim two bikes are gone and I can bring the MK IV into the stable and maybe lure a Stornello up north.
I wonder if that will get me back in the good books or deeper in the dog house.

That's the premise I use...... once an item crosses the garage door line it's been there for years.
