Title: Tanks that will fit a Tonti Frame

Greetings all

New member from Manchester (UK)

Had a look for this subject in the archives and found a few comments back in 2011, unfortunately some of the images have lost links but it was still useful.

However its now 2016 and I have the same question which tanks will fit the Tonti frame of the V35/v50/V65 

My current project is rebuilding a low milage v35 that was left to rot in a shed on a Scottish Island, its tank has rotted from the inside and is well beyond economical repair.
I'm considering a tank and seat(single) swap.


The Benelli Mojave does fit but its quite recognisable/over used

Any new ideas to up date the list of potential tanks for the Tonti frame 2016?

Why do you say the Benelli tank is over used, I don't think that I have seen more then 4 or 5 Guzzi's with that tank. And I searched for a while.

True on a Guzzi but google 'benelli mojave cafe racer' and half a page tips up.

Its a very distinct shape I'm not sure I am 100% behind ...

So looking for something .... different :-)
