Title: 6000 miles on my California
Post by: Lcarlson on May 08, 2016, 04:17:55 PM
On this fine Spring day, after a week of rain, I rolled through the 6000 mile mark on my bike, purchased last July. The original Dunlops are done -- time to switch to a set of Metzeler 880s. The Cali is a real pleasure.

I could not agree more!  the 1400 is such a sweet ride.  Hoping to hit the 6 k mark soon, too!

I'm bringing my touring in for the 6200 mi. service and tires Saturday. I was told they don't make an 880 200 rear tire so I'm getting the  800 series.

Apparently they do. Motorcycle Superstore lists the 880 200/16 for $225.

13,500 miles on my Custom.  After two sets of Dunlops I'm trying Avons.  Have about 1,500 miles on them.  Really like the way they handle.

Sorry Lcarlson,  I was told they don't make the 888 rear tire however Revzilla lists the 888 rear tire, but out of stock. I'm getting the 880's as well.
