Hi Chaps (and lasses). I live in the UK and I've just taken the plunge and purchased a bike for the first time in nearly 30 years. Midlife crisis I guess.....I need to have fun again. I used to have a Honda CX500 (no screams please) so I thought a Guzzi would be the closest in terms of riding. I've got a 2004 Nevada 750 arriving in about a week. Its got 9,000 miles on the clock.
Any hints or tips on what to do / not to do / possible problems? I always carried out my own servicing and I presume with this bike I can do the same?

Very nice! Ride it long and often....don't lock it away somewhere!

Enjoy the impulse buy!
Is that exhaust vented somehow with a gap in the muffler?
