Is anyone going to the bike show at pebble beach this weekend ?   If so let me know we can meet up.

Nope, I'll be freezing at the vintage races at Thompson speedway in Connecticut

 So is it "the QUAIL"? Or "the quail" ? Or  "THE quail"?

Funny thing, back in the early nineties there was still a horse stable next to the golf course, I'll wager it's long gone.

I rode a rental thoroughbred/draft cross named "Knockalong" through the golf course, much to amazed looks from the golfers. We were strongly cautioned by the wrangler to stay on the path - " $50 a hoof print " they said the golf course charges them.

Knockalong was a machine - I was barely enough rider to deal with him - I'll never forget that one.
