Title: On any Sunday?
Post by: giusto on May 15, 2016, 08:40:54 AM
 Good Sunday morning to all,

It is snowing here in Northwest in lower Michigan… A little bit of maintenance on my sons V65  in the semi-warm garage and then I'm looking for a good bike movie to watch.
My favorite has always been "On any Sunday"...I'm looking for a recommendations for what to watch…

Suggestions please

There is of course 'On Any Sunday'.
Then there is 'On Any Sunday II'. Very disappointing. So disappointing, I have forgotten why I didn't care for it.
Then along came 'Why We Ride'. Pretty good, but still not On Any Sunday. Still a must watch for a motorcyclist.
Then recently I found there was 'On Any Sunday the Next Chapter'. Very good IMHO. Another must see.

There is a very obscure movie named "Cycles South" that is entertaining .

Girl Meets Bike.

I can't think of a better motorcycle movie, though I've seen most of them.

I think you may need to order it as a DVD, though. $25 well spent.

YouTube. Queue up a bunch of test rides, shootouts and owner movies. Endless short videos to watch.

Some of the people posting videos are getting very good. On a large screen smart TV, using your phone to queue up the video is easy. Search for bikes you wanted to ride but didn't and someone has posted videos about it.

That's kind of what got me started… I got a short video from my buddy in Florida yesterday about the TT Isle of Man races ...that is a pretty awesome new video…
Also watched several buy a Scottish bloke about traversing Stelvio ... The sky is a lot of fun to watch… Almost need a translator  to understand his brogue.

I was looking for something classic in full length… I guess I'll watch on any Sunday again... Then try to dig up a few of the ones mentioned here.

You would probably enjoy "ONE WEEK" (Canadian 2008).  Joshua Jackson won a Genie award (sort of Canadian Oscars) as best actor. Especially if you like Nortons.

I enjoyed Eat a Peach and The Worlds Fastest Indian.

Cheers!
