Can the stock grab rails be installed over the H&B sidebag racks? I'm guessing it would require a spacer between shock mount and grab rail... but, wanted to see if anyone has done/tried this already.
To be clear, my wife has the sideracks, but no rear rack, and wishes to buy a pair of Wolfman Expedition bags, however the placement of the racks doesn't allow for the seat strap to be used. I was think that the grab rails would offer a viable "reouting" point for the seat strap (Strap under the grab rail, and over the seat)

I tried but couldn't figure out how to do it. like to see pics if you're successful.

Soft panniers work for me, but I also have the H&B rear rack, which provides good places for the rear strap. (I'm assuming by 'strap' you mean the cross-seat straps on the bags; I don't have Wolfman bags). Perhaps that rear rack might be a viable option?
