Title: How close is too close?

Nearly lost an eye. Turned and took one step, right into a piece of 1/2 inch water pipe sticking out the back of a pickup. Thank God for glasses.

Ouch! That looks painful, but it could have been much worse! The guy shoulda had a flag on it or something. Probably going to be annoying as it heals - especially on that eyelid. Heal quickly.

It wasn't sticking out that far, I was right at the truck.

Probably not, but if you did the first question is "Do you feel safe at home". 😂

Jenn has been asked that question too many times.

This week she's sporting a monster bruise on her left arm from Saturday's karate training. She says that every nurse she worked with this week needed an explanation.

The funniest question was from her boss who asked "you still do that, I thought you already had your black belt." :boozing:

It's amazing how that kind of pain can concentrate one's thinking in an instant...glad the damage was not worse!

Least you didn't accidently walk into the rear propeller of a helicopter and get decapitated like that guy did during the Mt. St. Helens eruption.  :copcar:

Doesn't even hurt today, just sore.
