Riding the Red Arrow again this weekend, and kept coming back to "wow, this is a ver satisfying motorcycle!" And I have ridden many motorcycles, and many Moto Guzzi; and what ALL the Guzzi had/have, them many of the others don't is "satisfaction"!
It's mostly the Guzzi motor. It has all the bases covered. It hits all my buttons.
Long Live Guzzi!
Something is coming.

I put my shifter back on and rode the road in low range. I think I found the rev limiter in low somewhere near 88mph. It was an odd feeling -- hauls on up like it has no redline and all of a sudden acts like it's momentarily not getting spark. I think they planned that so my flux capacitor wouldn't kick in.
But you have to get up to 88 in a few hundred yards because that's as long as the road goes straight and the driveways aren't hidden. That was the satisfying part -- turning up the volume control and letting my demon choir of BUBs sing.

Do I hear an amen?
Chuck, deacon, Church of Guzzi..

As long as I can still ziptie my hands to the bars and duct tape my boots to the pegs, I'm gonna ride this bike...I have spoken.

Amen, brothers. With the T limping or bedridden since the flood, and decommissioned since September, it has been a joy to ride the Mille. Hallelujah.

With basically the same engine in the 1200 Sport, it does hit all the right buttons. No matter the road, when I'm riding it, I have a conversation with my Guzzi and the road.

We gots more end of road signs than stop lights.
I restrict the warp speed stuff to a certain stretch of highway way out toward the end of the road. Nobody lives there and I can see far enough ahead to not get in trouble.
