Well I said I was hoping to get some pics of our trip.I got a few and they aren't very good but mainly it was disappointing because the weather turned very sour just as we got into South Oz so we never got to see or ride the Flinders because visibility was down to about five feet and it was raining cats and dogs!
But.
I saddled up my old bus with its 'Tour Pack'
Then I flogged off to Cowra where Beetle and I were going to meet up but failed so we agreed to meet that evening in Gilgandra.
There we were joined by Mr.Bob and Charlie Johnson on a Tenni SE and Diavolo Rosso, Charlies second after his first one got written off! Next morning We set off across the top of NSW heading for Broken Hill. These are long, boring, straight roads verminous with animals, some 'Roos and Emus but mainly feral goats! The bastards were everywhere! This stop was at the (?) Edina Roadhouse where we picked up some crappy fuel but the young lady who was monitoring the bowser had the most astonishing camel-toe on display! No I didn't ask if I could take a picture!

Dunno what this idiot's grinning about? White Line Fever I think!

Somewhere just east of Wilcannia my old bus clocked over 100,000 and I missed it! Mr.Bob had got the bit between his teeth and we were travelling, errr? 'Swiftly' on that stretch.

Entertaining, as always - but did nobody tell you? You can't tour on a Griso.

I'll take a rainy day on the bike over a nice day at work any time. :thumb:
BTW, you gotta do something about that one bike in the background. It does not appear to be a G

No you're quite right, you can't. Especially in outback Oz where the only fuel stops have lousy fuel served up by back-packing hotties......

After a stop at Peterborough, the threat of flash floods made us all sooks, and we voted to stop at Cradock.
The Peterborough bike museum had a great display, including a 750 S3 and a Mark 1. There were also a Laverda Jota and 500.

Nice! Nothing to beat a good MC road trip. Glad you had a safe return. Just curios , was there any goat Roper jokes going around?
-
Looks like a fun trip, just watch out for the new fence I posted about yesterday!

We lost interest in Goat jokes after seeing about 4 billion of them on the road from Gilgandra to Peterborough. :violent1:

It's an ancient aboriginal word meaning 'Place of the Bogan'
Oh, if you want an example of a Bogan? Here is one in its natural habitat.

Two Wings , Pete is the bespectacled bloke with the slightly surprised looking expression . Kind of destroys the curmudgeon image huh ?

I thought he'd be breathing fire and picking his teeth with an old wheel spoke...he rather looks more like a kindly old chemist...the kind that doesn't raise a fuss when the spotty teenage boys buy condoms and ciggies...

Don't let his mild-mannered appearance fool you.

Hey Pete,
Thanks for the story and pics, I come from out western NSW, looks like nothing much has changed, a great trip! I guess something would be bound to be lost in translation if you attempted to explain camel toe to some of the
international audience. Ha ha.
Cheers

You sure that's a Bogan Pete?
I mean, it looks like he's still got his front teef!

RANDM, you're no doubt very familiar with Bogans, living on the Peninsula. Frankston may well have more bogans even than Wagga.

Any photos of a Chinese began/redneck?

Should be easy enough to find Pete. Being a brain-dead, bigoted, potentially violent, racist retard is an aspect of humanity that knows no borders of country, culture or colour! Just find the dirtiest post-modern industrial slum somewhere near Shanghai and I'm sure you'd be able to find a Chinese redneck in a heartbeat!
