No place to go😕
My EV has new brakes, new tires, new relays, fresh oil and filter, and just passed inspection.
Local weather forecast is for continued rain. O.k., mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers, some heavy with lightning and high winds and whatever ....
I hate Germany, sometimes.

Don't feel too bad Tom , we are in our wettest period here in Okieland , rain everyday , then the Sun pops out , humidity shoots up , then it rains again . Air you can wear as Davedel says

You guys getting part of the rain flooding parts of Texas? No chance of flooding here. Our summer finally showed up in triple digit temps.

Sometimes I just ride anyway, in the rain, just because I want to ride and I am tired of waiting for a dry spell.
Speaking of which, it is 99 degrees here today in h!@#, er, the Portland area, and the ground on the farm is cracking...

Some of that Wayne , and some fast moving stuff coming from the North . We won't see 84 inches like last year , probably a more normal 42 inches .

109 in Green Valley Az. today. I'd trade you for the rain, roads, wine and beer.

I did say sometimes!
I am riding this morning to my guzzi breakfast. Light rain now. Perhaps after a short ride. Going to a birthday party today for some of that German bier and wein 😀

Light rain as I rode to breakfast. Some lighting and thunder while I ate. To the West the sky was black and the rain visible. But to the East it looked good. White clouds not black ones.
So I did a ride for about 1 hour mostly staying dry.
Not too bad😀

We've been hitting the rain at all the right times. Like in a car, train, busy, ship, etc. Haven't had but a few drops when out and about. Kinda been in the middle of the swirly that's stuck over Europe the last few weeks.
Took a train from Karlsruhe to Salzberg today. Back to Budapest to fly home tomorrow.

What part of Germany are in again? Sounds like rainsuit time.

I'm just south of Stuttgart.
A German motorcylist once told me that a German biker is always wet. Sometimes from the outside and sometimes from the inside.

I didn't leave the house today. I wish it had rained. It'll take me a bit longer before I'm in summer mode and able to ride in the 110 Las Vegas conditions and not feel overcooked...

I need the sun when I ride. When it goes down, I get disoriented.

There's this thing called the 'north star' - you can see it anytime you're on the side of Earth where you're not upside-down, like Pete and Beetle. Think back to your Boy Scout days, and you'll remember how to use the Big Dipper to pick it out.
As for Pete, Beetle, and the rest down there - it's a good thing the Earth keeps spinning, otherwise they'd all fall off!

Kinda hard when you're in a city like Munich or NYC.

Places like that, you can only see the sun between 10 and 2 - just enough time to ride out of them!

Luckily it's cooling down here now. No more 105-106F for awhile like the last few days. In the high 90's now. But to tell you the truth, as long as the dry wind is blowing on you it really isn't that bad until you stop. If you don't have a full coverage helmet on it's hotter than it has to be, assuming your FC helmet has good ventilation.

That only works if you're not staying in the city.
