So I am installing my 2 into 1 exhaust on my Tonti bike. Where is the best place to hang an exhaust braket? (slip on muffler flange to frame?) and what is recommended for hanger material, a thick piece of rubber or metal? Thanks,

Here's the two into one, not sure where and what material (thick rubber/steel) to hang the exhaust. Was thinking of using the slip-on clamp tied to the frame somewhere

Run a metal strap down from the footpeg bracket...
no one hangs motorcycle exhausts with rubber.

I love your "snarkyness" lol The picture wasn't taken at level, which is why the rear looks like sagging pants :afro: Right now everything is in mock up stage, the only thing really completed is the motor. I'm still working on the frame, the fender and front end came off an SP, I shortened and welded the plastic fender, but I still have body work, final structural welding, blah blah blah left before paint! On a side note, the exhaust is an original Dr. John stainless setup for street

I would use a traditional bracket from the lower rear of the frame extending back. I'd weld a tab on the pipe below where the bracket is and run a rigid strap between them.
Are you going to have a lower frame rail or is the engine supported by the top transmission mount?

Run a metal strap down from the footpeg bracket...
no one hangs motorcycle exhausts with rubber.
I'd keep using the rope. much cheaper and it flexes with the frame.

The engine is supported by a motor plate that sits between the engine and trans, I also have the engine mounted to the timing cover. Another plate supports the transmission, so, no lower frame rails.

Now remember this advise is worth exactly what you paid for it, so here goes, I would bend the pipe just a little more at the 45 after it comes off the wye, and bring the location of the next bend up just enough to put a bracket or clamp at the centerstand bolt location. :popcorn: work in progress :1:

Originally EPA supplied a clamp that both held the Supertrapp on and clamped to bkt going to footrest hanger
But we broke a few of those clamps
I made a few different mounts including a laser cut alloy one that mounted on g/box lower and centre stand bolts with a big clamp holding muffler at join
(shortened collector a bit by then)
But still broke
For last 20 odd years I've mounted Supertrapp with ss band around rubber strip like modern bikes do, band onto footrest hanger
But recently made completely new systems one completely straight with ss mx muffler, solid mount to footrest hanger
You could weld bkt to muffler but ss band around rubber strip easiest by far and will work
