Title: Oil level on updated Norge dipstick?
Post by: bpreynolds on June 19, 2016, 07:18:30 AM
The '07 Norge I recently acquired has the updated long dipstick as pictured.  The stick has 2 notches on the bottom.  I assume first notch is low and 2nd is full?

You'll know for sure the level w/you change the oil. Should be 3lts and a couple glugs w/filter full. Will be by the top line if marked correctly. Usually top line is full and bottom is add.  Not really familiar w/particular stick.

Yes, your assumption is correct. I had the same dipstick on my 07 Norge.  Use a rag to unscrew it when checking oil. Thing gets bleeping hot.

Thanks, Rad.  Now to just get that Beetle map installed.
