Same exact pics but Ebay listing is out of New Jersey with 12k miles, maybe he put 6k miles on it getting from Ohio to New Jersey.....

Certainly worth being careful - the Craigslist ad, though, is the one with no reputation score. Given the odometer difference, I would think new photos would be in order in any case :wink:

Not to cause trouble he has only 1 SELL feedback in the last year, and the deal never went thru. All the rest were HIM buying, So he can pay well

I will wager a guess that the craigslist ads are fakes (free to post on cl but I have no idea what they hope to gain) and perhaps the eBay is real, wouldn't be the first time a craigslist scammer stole images and descriptions off of a legit ad. There was a recent post like this actually, a Daytona for sale?.....

That might be quite likely - if the mileage and dollar values were consistent. The fact they differ tends to add to the confusion...

I suspect the 'very rare' comment has to do with other CL and eBay posts we have seen that made such claims for pretty ordinary Guzzis. Of course, it could also be a snide aside related to the recent discussion of possible discontinuation of the CARC bikes... :evil:
