My recently placed order with revzilla shipped from California not Philadelphia.
It will now take a week to get it instead of2 days.
Did the merge with cycle gear do this?

Happens on occasion. Revzilla doesn't stock everything at its Philly site, some things come direct from their suppliers.

Revzilla started in Philly (downtown on Delaware Avenue) and a few years ago moved to a large facility in the former Philly Navy Yard.
They also have a Las Vegas warehouse that performs a bit of fulfillment.
It wouldn't surprise me if some of their manufacturers drop ship products direct to customers. Though I can't confirm whether or not they do that, if that is the case, then a shipment could in theory come from anywhere.
Plus they have some sort of growing strategic alignment with Cycle Gear, so that could change fulfillment points as well.

Why don't you call Revzilla or does that constitute more of a personal contact that what you want to invest in an answer?
-
Geez waltr chill out.
Or is that too personal?
-
Revzilla offers SW Motech stuff now.
I ordered a part from them and it drop-shipped from Twisted Throttle.
This is neither good nor bad to me, just the way of the world.
-
The order shipped from las vegas ; their other location
I didn't know they had more than a single location

No that is not too personal, in fact that is just to my point, not personal at all. My point being is you can ask the question here and get an opinion on what an answer is or call them and get the answer to your question. I guess it is a pet peeve on mine.
Have a nice day!

Revzilla formed a new holding company Cycle Gear. I think that they are using Cycle Gear warehouses to get product to the consumer quicker. I had a similar experience with an order I placed recently.

I did have an order that was drop shipped from the mfg so not all comes from one of their warehouses.
I have read different things about the Cycle Gear deal. Cycle Gear is owned by JW Childs. Revzilla guys were, in one account, supposed to be on the board but I don't see that anywhere on the JW CHilds website, nor any mention of Revzilla. Maybe the deal did not go through?
