All I need is something cheap that'll work for legality sake, doesn't need to be 100% original Italian or anything. Am open to suggestions. Preferably black or something I can make black.
While I'm at it how about some handgrips too, any good suggestions on what I should get?

A friend had a t3 since new in 75, and this was 2008, so thirty plus years...on his bike, there was nothing that didn't fit on a tonti....it was original once, but after that he said he'd change it up into something else...windjammer, club racer, big bags, whatever...every few years, it was something else...so yeah, if you know your stuff, try it...never used one of those myself

Buy the loudest horn you can find for safety.
I use these, I have 1 high note and one low note on my EV very effective sounds like a big old Buick.

Fiamm on all of mine. I like the Gran Tourismo grips. Good vibration control and the larger center section fills my palm perfectly. Especially good for us "Old Hands".

When I got my Mille, it had a couple Voxbell horns on it. I don't know anything about them other than they seem to be in the original mounts, and they look a lot like the Fiamm horns. At the triples meet in May, the subject of horns and being heard came up, so I gave a blast. The first comment was "Sounds like a tour bus". I took that as a compliment. :grin:
Redrider, do you have a source for genuine Gran Tourismo grips? I love the originals, but the copies I got don't have the air cells in them, and they're wearing quickly.

The original T3's horns -- which I think are the same as the T's -- are a pair of 9.5cm Voxbells, mounted on springy steel brackets. They have mounting bolts centered on their backs. So they are different from the one you asked about in a couple of respects. Another feature of the originals is that they have
two wires each terminals for positive and negative wires, instead of grounding through the mount. But as was said, you can make any horn work.
I think the springy mounting helps the horns sound so loudly. Those Voxbells are pretty impressive. I decided to keep them when I added a Nautilus airhorn under the tank, to make a variable-loudness system.

I'll probably spring for the voxbells at a later time, I like the look of them and they're original. Can't say I've ever heard them though

The "tour bus" comment is pretty accurate. My Mille certainly sounds more like a large car or a truck/bus than a motorcycle.
For reference, mine are marked "38693" and "E3", and look a lot like these, but I don't have the chrome covers over the horn openings:

Sure it will. But it might not be heard by the little old lady pulling in front of you. Also recommend adding a relay, so the current of the horn doesn't burn out your horn button.
