How about an H4 headlight bulb that automatically strobes red-white-blue.. where do they sell these things?

There's a whole bunch of law enforcement strobing LEDs listed on Amazon - some for even less than this device. Unlike some other products, there's no law against buying or even installing these things - just against using them while on a public road, or in order to impersonate a LEO!

Back in the early eighties my riding image on my Eldo was pretty scooter trash - bandana for a helmet, ratty old horsehide coat stitched up with leather lace, bearded and braided pony tail. My riding buddy was on a new Honda 750 four, Vetter fairing, new leathers, helmeted, clean shaven engineer image.
He'd added blue lenses to his turn signals and had them wired up as running lights. We were on the 5 North at night and passed a CHP sitting by the roadside. He jumped to and lit us up.
While one officer read my buddy the riot act and made him remove the bulbs on the spot, the other officer and I had "old home week" - he'd been a Guzzi motor officer for the CHP for ten years. Used to change his own clutch, loved the bike.
I like running lights that get attention but some of them have a higher price than others.

Not sure how these are legal either (only amber allowed to face forward): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slVTBFTXrJw
Now that I think about it, neither was this: http://keepreal.org/wp-content/uploads/Knight_Rider.jpg

Remember the old Ford Tail lights that had a little blue lens in the middle? Would they make you remove those now? Jurgen

OMG Jurgen! Thanx for the memories. . . blue dot tail lights. Tres cool, or what. They made them for some chevvies, too. The last issue I can recall fit 49 & 50 Fords. IIRC the 'blue dot' had a metal collar, no? Bore out that plastic tail light lens and plug the hole with a blue dot. R3~
