Title: Mileage carryover with new gauges?
Post by: Toecutter on June 30, 2016, 11:38:33 AM
So, my wife bought a new V7 a couple of months ago, but after purchase realized that the odometer was in Miles & not km.

So, off to warranty it went, new gauges were approved, and installed.

However, the mileage on the ODO was reset to zero.

Does anyone know if, or how, the mileage can carryover? Is it possible on the V7?

Don't know the answer, but when I replaced the gauges on my Triumph I used a label maker to produce a label saying "Add 5500 miles," and stuck it on the face of the instrument.

I'm puzzled - is the V7 not equipped with a switchable dash menu for at least the miles/km display? I know it doesn't have the selectability of the more complex dashes, but I thought it at least had that...

Nope.

The US gauges read in MPH, and km/h, but the Odometer is miles only.

In Canada, the gauges and ODO are km only.
