Title: Recs for a good wheel bender

Short story is my R100 has a tweaked front wheel. They are cast aluminum of alloy unknown to me. By eye it doesn't look bad but I get wheel hop at 40 mph
 Bead flange TIR is .065" lateral on one side,.040" the other. Radial runout TIR is .040" on both bead surfaces.

I already know about Woody's in Denver- anybody know a good wheel bender close to Chicago that does cast aluminum w,heels? I have a hydraulic press but I don't want cause a work hardened crack.

I would first get a new wheel, then if that was to pricey, use Woody's.... Lots of folks will fix your wheel, but when you are going 100mph, how comfy are you with the gent who worked your wheel???? I've had wheels fixed and really never felt good at the track or high speed. Woody's I trust, but new wheels bring true comfort.  Perhaps its time to upgrade to a cool set of aftermarket wheels :evil:

I'd love to get a new set of OEM wheels...at $700 each but not in this retirees budget. Besides if done right repair vs replace is a no brainer.

The front wheel is already in the box for UPS to take it to Woody's

If Woody can"t do it I know a good road that will fix you up.   :evil:
