After 7 years of ownership of my 2008 Silver Norge, I'm frankly bored with the Silver color...it's just too bland. Have been mulling over a couple of options - saw on here a fellow had painted a bike a beautiful Black Cherry (Le Mans perhaps) that looked amazing in the right sunshine...not too Reddish or Candyish if you know what I mean.
Considering even the recent California Blue as an option, and while the Stelvio blue is nice, it's a bit too "flat" for my taste - not enough depth to the paint. There was a nice Bluezzi at John Day as well...maybe a bit lighter shade. Curious what other standard Guzzi colours might look good on a 2008 Norge - throw me some options fellas - I don't want an existing Norge color (no sand, white, red or Mahogany)!
Of course...this means I'll have to repaint my panniers and remove all the stickers from places I've visited...but that's a small price to pay...

the paint scheme of the racing Guzzi V8 has often been used: primer green with white circles for the numbers along with a brown suede seat. Both the Le Mans and Griso were offered that way by the factory, perhaps there were others. PhotoShop is your friend to try these things...

If you wait a bit until they figure out the marketing and licensing, there is a brand new color of blue that just got discovered. But, it's not going to be available for at least 6 months.

I'm totally serious when I say this... but go look at or buy the biggest pack of Crayola crayons to give yourself an idea of what you want.
Other shades of blue:

I rather like the Egyptian Blue

I think the Norge, with all its angles and curves, might look good with color changing or prismatic paint. We had a Buick that looked blue or green depending on the angle.
Could be fun, different combinations like red orange, silver black, blue yellow.

Thanks Daniel...very provocative in a good way...and I have a tan Corbin...that might be as unique as it gets! Thanks for the ideas!

Doppel...I have a serious weakness for blue...3 cars in different shades of blue...Egyptian is beautiful, the newly discovered one is a stunner too! Nice options...thank you!

No doubt about that!! Many more years of adventures still to be had...that means more stickers, magnets, pins and other collectibles!! :)

Very true indeed!! Maybe even a "disappearing" paint to make it invisible - a "cloaked" Norge when riding in a spirited fashion!!

Paul , honestly the only time I ever notice the color of a motorbike is when parked . Kind of like chrome , a different color won't make it faster or more comfortable .
AND , here is the other option , since that thing is getting tired , give it to a good friend (hint) and buy a new(er) Norge in a more preferable color

Several years ago at the Texas Guzzi rally one of the attendees had a Norge in a beautiful two-tone red and silver scheme. It was absolutely stunning. Haven't seen it around for a while, though. Maybe Beaver or Tex might have a picture of it in their archives.

All true - but I love the bike and plan to keep it for a long time and it's well broken in with the custom mods I have done so far, so I just want to freshen up the aesthetics a bit...sort of like a new set of clothes. Not really ready to start fresh just yet with a new bike all over again! Are you saying that you would go from a Jackal to a Norge?? Maybe I should keep those Helibars after all I'm trying to sell!

Whoa Nellie!! That yellow is the HEAT! No one could claim they didn't see you.

I'm liking the yellow too, although I was going with the other suggestion of the flip flop paint. Flip flop is probably more costly.

Along those lines and darker is what I was thinking of Black Cherry... :) Something like below perhaps?

Burgundy...that's a nice wine color, it would combine nicely with the arriving Black Agostini muffler too! Love to find the official paint code for that one!
I'm intrigued by the idea of Green or tri-color (Italian flag), but I feel like those color combinations are more for a café style or racing bike (V11, Scura, Sport) than a Norge...just my own mental "association" of colors and models.
That's a very Happy Quota - I like that color combo on it!

I think the Norge is sporty enough to pull it off.

Yellow... but the correct yellow.. there are many shades and variations... Lamborghini yellow is what the Griso's were painted..

That is the common reference to the paint that changes color depending on the angle you see it from. Popular in the aftermarket, it has also been an option on a few cars from the factory.

Would you believe that there are something like 15 shades of Lamborghini Giallo (Yellow)...lots to choose from!

Paul, I hope you've located a good painter and a good budget. I think your bike looked in good shape. It takes a good respray to match factory quality and longevity.
Good luck.

Tenni Green with some accent white and red stripes...

Thanks John...all very true and excellent points. It's got a few small nicks but is still in great shape indeed. I was going to use the painter recommended by Mike at MPH, still need to get a quote to see if it makes sense to do so and take a look at the quality of his work, however Mike's recommendation gives me a high level of comfort he does quality work. Of course, if the cost is too high, I'll leave it. Looking at taking off all the parts myself to save on labor charges for dismantling and assembly.
Other items first before I get to the paint:
1. Install Agostini muffler on its way here from Italy
2. Install Beetle map (I'm sure it will take me a bit to get all the GuzziDiag stuff mastered and properly loaded.
3. Install new custom Cal-Sci on its way...slightly taller than the shorty, slightly shorter than the Medium.
Don't you love modifications...nev er ending!! :)

I was pushing her to go with a red from the new F150.
try looking here for some ideas - you can then give the painter the color code.
