Title: 72 Eldo, mounting a rear fender bumper
Post by: cwiseman on July 11, 2016, 09:25:15 PM
I finally found a DB rear fender bumper, it came off a T-3 but figured I might get lucky and it be the same for the Eldo? Anyways I see two diffrent ways of mounting it and have no clue weather of them are correct, sure I can make it work but was hoping to get some advice as to the correct way of mounting it, or some pictures of one mounted showing how it's attached

Biggest question, does the top mounting point of the bumper/chrome trim mount to the fender or the frame. If it's the frame is a spacer needed?

Looking at a picture of one. It looks like the bottom mount goes to the license plate/ turn signal chrome mount holes in the fender and the top tabs go to the tabs on the frame.

I've never had DB parts, so I could be wrong.
