Never would have guessed it would work but it does! My gloves somehow fell out of my bags and got soaked in the rain. A few minutes in the hotel microwave they are 90% dry. Not sure if I should keep going!

With a little gravy and a dinner roll it would be as good as some hotel restaurant dinners.
-
For some reason I'm thinking. I'd let the rest air dry.
-
Of course they don't fit now except as a pinkie finger puppet...........
Actually they are fine. I am amazed.

If it didn't fit you shoulda quit! (OJ Simpson content)

Fortunately you didn't cook them. You sped up the drying out process.

Microwaves basically work by heating the moisture in food , this kind of makes sense .

Leather gloves?
I tried to dry my aluminum foil hat in a microwave. Didn't go so well.
-
Leather should always be air dried using no heat (stove fire microwave) if you want it to last.
I grew up riding and wearing leather on a ranch.
If you just have to do it in a pinch...ok..it will damage the leather and bindings.
Hey mike how do you keep your leather thong clean?

You did remove it from your head before doing so ... right ?

Ride 'em RAWHIDE! HEaaaahhhh!!!!

I have dried leather gloves many times in cloth drier, worked great! They will come out little tight but will stretch out with some oil applied and wear.

Glad we could crack you up a little Ralph!

Nice to read some banter. It was getting a bit stuffy.
If you have time(overnight), tear newspaper into 3x5 sections, roll tightly and insert into the fingers of the gloves. Another crumpled wad in the palm area.

You should come to Cedar Vale next year , the conversation about the existence of Big Foot got pretty lively , and next year we will probably be discussing UFO's judging by a recent conversation.
