Title: Where to get those retro looking header flanges?
Post by: Seamaster on July 19, 2016, 10:47:06 AM
Can anyone tell me where to get those retro (shark tooth) header flanges to fit V7II (stock header).

If you really want those I would suggest arming yourself with the hole diameter and center to center bolthole measurements and visiting your local motorcycle boneyard in hopes of finding a pair that may fit.  Be ready to modify the clamp spacers that fit inside these for your application.

I thought MG uses standard sized tubing for their headers, I was hoping just buy those flanges off the shelf.

If the stud spacing is the same as the older small-blocks (V35, V50, V65, etc.) then perhaps these?:

I think I have a pair of nicely hi-temp powdercoated (black) finned clamps for you.  If you can wait a week for me to get back to Sitka I can dig them out.  PM if interested.

When we resurrected our V65 my dealer had them on the shelf, not even pricey. It was R&K cycle, Kirkwood, Illinois. He may be gone for a few days yet.
